Welcome Yassmin Shaker, the NNPRFTC’s Administrative Specialist!
In November 2019, the Consortium welcomed Yassmin Shaker as its new administrative specialist.
Yassmin will provide administrative support to the Executive Director, its committees and the accreditation commission.
Prior to joining the consortium, Yassmin was an Executive Assistant with over 10 years of extensive experience in executive administration, documentation, and customer service in various countries of the Middle East and in the Unites States. Having held this position in various medical, pharmaceutical, and Translation & Interpretation industries has increased Yassmin’s efficiency in her assigned roles. Yassmin is able to easily adapt and work with various organizational cultures.
Encouraged by her father, who was an OB/Gyn Specialist, Yassmin became a premed student at Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City, Florida. During those college years, she worked at her father’s clinic to acquire hands on experience and hoped to work with him after graduation as a Pediatrician. Following the death of her father, Yassmin changed her major and graduated from the University of Northeastern Illinois in Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Information Science. She is bilingual Arabic/English and has a Certificate of Medical Interpretation and Translation from Cairo University in Egypt. Currently, she is preparing for her Project Management Professionals (PMP) Certification and is looking forward to sharing her skills and talents with the consortium.
Thank you for joining me in welcoming her to the consortium team!
Regards,
Kerry Bamrick
Executive Director
