The Consortium for Advanced Practice Providers offers programmatic accreditation for postgraduate nurse practitioner and joint nurse practitioner and physician associate training programs, designed by NP and PA postgraduate program directors, for NP and PA postgraduate training directors. The Consortium exists to support new and ongoing postgraduate training programs for nurse practitioners and physician associates in the achievement and maintenance of the highest standards of rigor and quality, consistent with achieving the goal of an expert healthcare workforce prepared to meet the needs of patients and the society as a whole. |
Accreditation Office Hours
What are Accreditation Office Hours?
After the Consortium’s 7th Annual Conference, there was interest in having time dedicated to accreditation and completing the Self-Study Guide. The Consortium for Advanced Practice Providers is hosting Accreditation Office Hours each month to support programs through the accreditation and re-accreditation process. This will allow programs an opportunity to better understand the accreditation standards, directly engage with staff on emerging topics, and connect with peers to discuss shared challenges and insights.
What happens during Accreditation Office Hours?
Each month the Accreditation Office Hours session will begin with a few questions about where the participants are at in the Self-Study Guide and Accreditation process. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions. The session will include program directors, managers, and expert site visitors to network with and learn best practices.
Who can come to Accreditation Office Hours?
Accreditation Office Hours are open to program administrators, faculty, and coordinators/managers involved in all levels of APP Postgraduate Training Programs.
Is my program required to be accredited to join?
No! Accreditation Office Hours welcomes those who are thinking about accreditation, currently in the accreditation process, and seeking re-accreditation.
Is there a fee to join?
Accreditation Office Hours are offered free of charge. If you need additional support outside of Accreditation Office Hours, please reach out to our Accreditation Program Manager, Shay Felder, to set up a one-on-one meeting.
